Bug Fixes
The following bugs have been fixed:
- Fixed two errors that could occur after editing a step title.
- Clarify would sometimes crash on Windows when spell checking a document.
- Clarify would crash on macOS High Sierra when using the color dialog.
- Typing in a step title field would sometimes lag.
- Moving the mouse outside of the Clarify window while dragging a canvas resize handle, stopping mouse movement, and releasing the mouse button would cause the canvas to revert to the original size the next time you moved the mouse over the canvas resize handle.

Bug Fixes
The following bugs have been fixed:
- Copy, paste, and duplicate actions were not working for annotations.
- When exporting images captured on high resolution displays that included with text annotations the text in the text annotation was not being scaled properly.
- Trying to undo a create step or duplicate step action would trigger an error.
- Dragging a step from one document to another document and then trying to undo the action would trigger an error.
- On Windows copying an image to the clipboard would only work the first time.
- While editing text in a text annotation on Windows the line spacing in the text was too large.
- On Windows the preferences from the previous version of Clarify were not being carried forward to the new version.
- When no windows were open the File menu would sometimes disable the wrong menu item when trying to disable the Close item.

Features
The following features have been added:
- Support for the WordPress JSON REST API. On WordPress 4.7 and above the JSON REST API is installed. This API is much more reliable than the XML-RPC API and Clarify will try to use it if available. - Clarify has full unicode support for filenames.
- Added preference to specify what Clarify should do when it starts up.
- Clarify now detects image density settings when pasting images from the clipboard or importing image files.
- Added a "Copy images at full resolution" preference. If checked then images are copied to the clipboard using all available image data.
- Added [[DD/MM/YYYY]] to the list of available variables in PDF templates.
- Added support for inline code blocks to the Markdown HTML exporter.
- Added support for site licenses.
Changes
The following changes have been made:
- Dropbox support has been removed. As of September 1, 2017 Dropbox no longer renders HTML content from a Dropbox account. Clarify made use of this feature.
- You can no longer create a free clarify-it.com account in Clarify. The clarify-it.com platform is being retired and we are not allowing new accounts to be created.
- Modifying drag operations on Windows is now done with the CONTROL key. Previously the ALT key was used which was not keeping with the Windows standard.
- On Windows PHP has been updated to version 5.6.31.
- Cyrillic characters are now converted to an ASCII equivalent when generating filenames.
- Updated US, British, Spanish, French, and German dictionaries on Windows.
- Sequence annotations with different numbers but the same font and font size will now always be drawn with the same radius.
- Added an additional check to ensure that an anchor name that is entered is unique to the document.
- When adding a step to a document via drag and drop or pasting the anchor will be set to empty if it conflicts with an existing anchor in the document.
- If Clarify cannot detect the available WordPress API by inspecting the HTML of the website then a blank WordPress sharing account is created.
- Document tags are now inserted as Keywords in the PDF document when exporting to PDF.
- Clarify now saves documents to a temporary file and then moves the file to the final location. If anything goes wrong while saving, the existing file will not be overwritten with bad data.
- The Substep title color swatch was 1 pixel too far to the right in the PDF template editor.
- Support for F12-F16 has been added for screen capture hot keys.
- When exporting images an improved resizing algorithm is used.
Bug Fixes
The following bugs have been fixed:
- While resizing an image canvas using the handles the mouse would sometimes get stuck in resizing mode even after the mouse button was released.
- If all Clarify windows were closed on macOS then an empty line would appear in the Window menu.
- If closing the last document window on macOS displayed a modal dialog then the document window menu would remain in the menu bar after closing the dialog and window. Making certain selections from this menu would cause an error.
- Clarify was not always performing the correct action at launch.
- It was possible to trigger other actions during a File > Save action via shortcuts. This could lead to odd errors.
- The footer defined in a sharing account was not being sent to the DOCX template when exporting to Word.
- Fixed an issue with the File menu becoming corrupted in certain circumstances.
- Fixed an error that would happen when uploading a document with a unicode character in the filename to WordPress.
- HTML export would fail if the current username had accented characters in it.
- Logos in PDF templates would not work if the current username had accented characters in it.
- HTML templates would not load property if the current username had accented characters in it.
- Fixed a divide by 0 error in the image annotation contextual menu.
- Cursor guides would sometimes appear in the screenshot.
- Text annotations were sometimes cutting off at the bottom of letters.
- When selecting a logo for an HTML sharing account the logo was not being added to the output correctly.
- Edit > Paste wasn't always working when an image was on the clipboard.
- Optimized routine that determines if the last character typed should trigger a spell check of a just completed word.
- Fixed a potential error in the "Set List Starting At" dialog.
- Fixed an error that would occur if you tried to undo an annotation change in a step that wasn't visible in the navigation tree.

- The "Ignore Case" checkbox in the Find dialog was really just ignoring what you selected.

- If the Find window was open then screen capture would not work.
- It was possible for the image tool to take over an annotation so that an image would always be selected even when another tool was active.
- Words that had been learned in the dictionary were not being added to the spell checker properly when starting up Clarify.
- Updating an existing Evernote connection with a new OAuth key would complain that an Evernote account already existed.
- When adding an image file to a document it was possible to create a conflict between the new image and an existing annotation. This conflict would result in an execution error.
- The default PDF style CSS document was not targeting tables properly.
- An error about an invalid text selection could occur when performing a spell check.
